Just announcing that I will be at Kumoricon (September 5-7, Portland, Oregon). This is the first year for me to go that it isn't the weekend before school starts, so that might give me the freedom to go for multiple days, for once. Not to mention that now I can go to the after-hours events (though it's probably to late to get a reservation in the hotel (not to mention a probable lack of money to do so), so that limits me to mostly-daytime, I'm guessing). Hoping I'll run into some deviants there--but then, almost everyone I asked at last year's con was a deviant, so it's not exactly unlikely. Not currently planning to cosplay, though I wasn't last year and ended up getting a costume award, anyway XD (Girl Genius' Gaslamp Fantasy Costume Appreciation Award -- a steampunk award, basically (I was wearing a corset and pinstripes, so I guess that suffices))


General Updates:
- Still working on Heterochromia, though I realize it has been about five months since I posted a page. I am about 8 or 9 pages ahead of what has been posted with inking, though I only have a couple of those toned. Currently, I'm focusing on trying to get the first chapter done by Kumoricon. Although I'm not a vendor or anything, I'm hoping to have a printed copy or two to show around, at least; last year I almost got some commission work from just showing the first 4 or 5 pages. Will be switching the toning style on subsequent posted pages, because doing separate screen and print versions is a pain (and I like the print version in greyscale rather than b+w tones). Eventually, earlier pages will probably be changed, too--but my main focus is getting the first chapter done.
