Artist's Comments

The second of the illustrations I'll be uploading of those I've done for my school's newspaper.

Unlike the first I uploaded, this one was not in opposition to its accompanying article. In fact, this one is not really considered an "editorial cartoon" at all; instead it's an "illustration with story." This went with an article advising people to cut down on PDA in school. It won me an Honorable Mention in this year's Publication Olympics.

Well, you have to be fair about it. Public Displays of Affection, I think, are fine--a kiss, a hug, whatever. It's just what would be better termed as Public Displays of Lust--the infamous makeout sessions on sidewalks, etc--that are really disgusting. I'm fine with people feeling affectionate in public, as long as they consider the comfort of those around them.
